Spring - Fall 2022 - I launched a pilot busking initiative to bring vibrancy to less-traveled areas by paying musicians to perform in locations with lower foot traffic. The goal was to extend the lively atmosphere of the square’s center to its edges. Buskers were encouraged to set out a tip jar and keep any earnings from their performances. The pilot was a great success, securing a grant that funded continued base pay for buskers and the purchase of a portable speaker to enhance their performances.
